In Our Own Words
Let’s Be Totally Clear Scores a Major Victory in Alexandria
Some of our clients measure their results in terms of dollars and cents. The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living however, measures theirs by the number of people protected against the dangers of second-hand smoke. Today, you can chalk up about 47,800 more folks to add to that list.
Effective January 2, 2012, The City of Alexandria, LA will no longer allow smoking in Bars and Gaming Establishments, as the City Council voted unanimously on an ordinance that also included a ban on smoking within 25 feet of any city property, athletic arena or ballpark.
So congratulations to all of our friends and colleagues over at the Louisiana Public Health Institute and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living whose hard work and dedication has truly started a domino effect across the state.
Driving website visits or getting online petition signatures is great, but seeing actual change occur as a result is something you simply cannot measure through Google Analytics.
