Canal St. Christmas
post by: Eric Morgan
By no stretch of the imagination are we strangers to inclement weather down here in New Orleans. But the one thing that we rarely see is the white stuff. Well, today Mother Nature gave us a little pre-Christmas treat in the form of a blanket of snow. Ok, not a true blanket of snow, it melted as soon as it hit the ground, but there were ample amounts on the cars, lawns and rooftops. Naturally the situation threw the entire area into a panic. And strangely enough the Yankees here at M+C were the ones that were perplexed. I would have thought they were the ones to stay calm, cool and collected, but no. Its like they lost their entire winter survival skills that have been etched into their minds from birth. I guess that’s what New Orleans does to a new comer. Thankfully the locals knew how to defuse the situation.
