New Orleans CityBusiness has named Morgan + Company one of its 2008 Best Places to Work. This is the second straight year M+C has been named to the list.

So why are we one of the best places to work year in and year out? Well, the fully stocked beer fridge doesn’t exactly hurt, but we like to think there is more to it then that. Healthcare and 401k’s are usually what businesses mean by “benefits.” But what about the ability to work from home if your kid has the flu? Or spending a “work day” with your fellow co-workers for Mardi-gras? How does having the week between Christmas and New Years off to spend the holidays with your in-laws sound?

Ok, so maybe that last one’s a bad example. The point is that Morgan + Co understands that just because it’s called work doesn’t mean your not allowed to enjoy yourself while you’re doing it. Getting paid to do something you actually enjoy while being surrounded by some pretty interesting and creative folks – that’s certainly one good reason why Morgan + Co is one of the the best places to work in 2008.
