Morgan + Company

Remember that roommate who balanced her checkbook to the penny every month? Well, we hired her. Partly to guarantee that we get our paychecks on time, but with so many things going on we thought it would be smart to have someone keep an eye on those little details like A/R and A/P.

Her accounting background is the culmination of over 8 years with Hibernia Nation Bank, which was bought shortly after she left by the behemoth Chase (Thank you stock options!). There she was a Product Manager of Account Analysis, Cash Vault and Float Management within the Treasury Management division. Her responsibilities required continuous improvement in work processes along with the research and development of new product offerings for the bank’s commercial clients. She started her tour at Hibernia as Lockbox Quality Control Coordinator, addressing all quality issues for clients in either Wholesale or Retail Lockbox and then as a supervisor, first in the Mail Processing group, then as Wholesale Lockbox Supervisor before moving to Treasury Management.

At Morgan + Company she has one simple responsibility — make sure more money is coming in than going out. Seriously, she manages all financial and operational matters of the company including working with client account teams to manage annual budgets, client billing, reporting, and managing the receivables and payables process.

A graduate of Tulane University with a B. A. in History, Brenda has left behind her roots (or lack thereof) of growing up in a military family on the move. She has been officially deemed a local New Orleanian, having earned her stripes through attending countless festivals, fishing in the marshes of the area, and electing corrupt and inept politicians of the great state of Louisiana.
