Convinced that she is a “New Orleans lady”, Katie is soaking up all that the city has to offer. Long walks down Magazine Street, the sounds of a good brass band and a beverage or two are what the Crescent City means to her.
At Morgan + Company Katie tackles client radio, TV and cable schedules, market and competitive analysis and designing promotional opportunities. She is also responsible for making sure everyone fully enjoys the holiday season by blasting Christmas jingles and whistling a tune every now and then. But she vows not to bust out the Christmas cheer until well after Thanksgiving for the sanity of the rest of us and fear for her own safety.
With a degree in broadcast journalism from Louisiana State University in 2005, she’s done some time at WAFB-TV’s promotion’s department and Chicago-based marketing firm MarketingWerks. There she handled the promotion and marketing of Verizon Wireless products and services at LSU football games. Her most recent gig before finding the meaning of life at Morgan + Company was as an assistant buyer at Baton Rouge ad agency The Moran Group.
Ready for a real challenge, a change of scenery and questionable levee protection, Katie packed up her bindle stick and moved to the Crescent City where she lived happily ever after.
