We promised ourselves that we wouldn’t cry but our little girl is all grown up! Over the weekend, our very own Katie DeVries became engaged to be married to one Mr. Ryan Kelly.

After months of misdirection and throwing her off the scent, the soon-to-be Mr. Katie DeVries successfully plotted out a rather elaborate and cunning proposal that included coordinating with friends and family across three different states and of course finding a big ole ring.

Katie and Ryan have not yet set a date but we are told that it will fall “somewhere between the Superbowl and Mardi-Gras of 2010.” Gotta love a couple who has their priorities straight.
